On Sunday I began the day with the latest from Ohio State 2014 linebacker target Dillon Bates. Bates says the best is yet to come at Ohio State under Urban Meyer, and Bates is talking about visiting OSU again, probably this spring.

On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had information on perhaps the next Brian Cushing picking Ohio State, a potential second 2014 Cleveland area junior committing to Ohio State, the Buckeyes beating Michigan to the recruiting punch in the Wolverines’ backyard and more.
We broke the news here on Tuesday morning that Christopher Worley had scheduled an official visit to Ohio State the weekend of Jan. 11. At this point it is the only official visit Worley has scheduled.
The weekend of Jan. 12 will be a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes with prospects making official visits and a big junior day on Sunday, Jan. 13. One of the Buckeyes’ top 2014 defensive back targets, Damon Webb, plans to visit OSU again that weekend.
Linebackers Trey Johnson and Mike Mitchell spent this past week getting ready for the Under Armour All-American Game and the Army All-American Bowl respectively, and making their college announcements at the games. The same goes for wide receiver James Quick at the Army All-American Bowl.
