Wide receiver James Clark made an official visit to Ohio State last weekend. It was a visit Clark called “great.”

Also making an official visit to Ohio State last weekend was slot receiver Dontre Wilson. According to Wilson’s coach, things went quite well for Wilson on his visit.

Slot receiver/running back Corn Elder was offered a scholarship by Purdue to play basketball, complicating Elder’s decision.

On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had news on Urban Meyer firing back at Michigan coach Brady Hoke, the Buckeyes making an offer just in time, Meyer letting Trout know he is the man for the Buckeyes and more.

Also on Monday I broke the news that Ryan Timmons would not be making an official visit to Ohio State.
Vonn Bell talked about his official visit to Tennessee last weekend as well as what he is thinking about Ohio State, Alabama and a possible fourth official visit.

After arriving back in Texas, Wilson said on Monday that he was 50/50 between Ohio State and Oregon.

Late Tuesday night the father of Oregon wide receiver commitment Darren Carrington said he and his son were likely going to make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend.
The Buckeyes have offered 2014 defensive end Lawrence Marshall. Kerry Coombs was in Michigan on Wednesday and stopped at Marshall’s school. Marshall plans to visit Ohio State the weekend of Feb. 10.
