Watson is the 2014 quarterback the Ohio State staff is targetting.
On Sunday night I posted a story on huge JUCO offensive tackle Chad Mavety who the Buckeyes have offered and who plans to visit Ohio State in April.
On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had news on Buckeye quarterback target DeShaun Watson and OSU’s chances with Watson, which 2014 prospects Meyer was talking to on National Signing Day, the Buckeyes’ 2014 offensive line recruiting plans and more.
Star Tennessee safety Todd Kelly visited Ohio State last weekend and came away very impressed.
Four-star wide receiver Demarre Kitt made the trip up from Georgia to Ohio State last weekend and afterwards said it was the best visit he has been on and said Ohio State and Clemson are his two favorites.
The Buckeyes missed out on punter Johnny Townsend. So the day after National Signing Day Meyer called Andrew Gantz who is a strong preferred walk-on punter candidate for the Buckeyes.

On Wednesday night Marshall de-committed from the Buckeyes after visiting both Michigan State and Michigan.

On Thursday I posted a feature on my Top 22 2014 prospects in Big Ten country. The Buckeyes already have commitments from or are on the list of 14 of the 22 prospects.
Five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan recently visited Clemson and now says things have changed a little when it comes to the Buckeyes’ lead.
On Thursday night the Buckeyes offered a scholarship to wide receiver Derek Kief and I had a story posted shortly after that offer was made.
