We started our coverage this past week with coverage of the Nike Combine in Massillon. On Sunday I posted a video interview with Buckeye commitment Parris Campbell who excelled at the combine including running the 40-yard dash in an electronically timed 4.42 seconds. Campbell says he wants to “tote the rock” for the Buckeyes.
Dante Booker Jr. remains the No. 1 2014 prospect in the state of Ohio.
Also on Sunday I had my Sunday feature which last Sunday was the latest edition of my my Ohio Class of 2014 Top 10. There were some changes since I last ran this feature over two months ago, but the guy at the top remained the same, Ohio State linebacker target Dante Booker Jr.
On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had news on perhaps another 2014 Georgia star interested in Ohio State, what punter Andrew Gantz was going to do, a very athletic offensive tackle headed to Ohio State and more.
One of the country’s top rated JUCO offensive tackle prospects, Jermaine Eluemunor, has scheduled an official visit to Ohio State for the weekend of Nov. 23 when the Buckeyes host Indiana.
Eluemunor had already scheduled an official visit to Ohio State when the Buckeyes followed up with a scholarship offer to the huge offensive tackle.
5-Star safety Quin Blanding, who has Ohio State among his ten choices, has scheduled a date to announce his college choice. He will be making that announcement next week.
The Buckeyes have offered a number of outstanding wide receiver prospects and they definitely would like to add a tall, long receiver with great skills. One of the guys the Ohio State staff has offered is Dallis Todd from LaMirada, California.
Late Friday afternoon Bucknuts.com broke the news that JUCO offensive lineman Chad Mavety had scheduled an official visit to Ohio State for the weekend of Nov. 22.
