Buckeye Recruiting Week In Review

Our recruiting coverage this past week began early Sunday morning with my Sunday feature. This past week it was the latest edition of my Ohio 2014 Top 10. There was some movement in my Top 10, but one thing remains the same, the Buckeyes could land a high percentage of my Top 10 when all is said and done.

Five star linebacker Raekwon McMillan was part of my Buzz threads from this past week.

On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had information on Urban Meyer being very involved recruiting one of the Buckeyes’ top offensive line targets, a Tim Tebow like quarterback interested in Ohio State and much more.

I continued this past week with my newest feature, Kurelic’s Buckeye Recruiting Tidbits & Buzz. Here are your daily doses of my Ohio State football recruiting buzz from the past week.

Tom Herman has been busy recruiting for the Buckeyes during the spring evaluation period.

Ohio State offensive line target Jamarco Jones announced his final four and not surprisingly the Buckeyes are one of the four.

The Buckeyes have been in Texas and Tom Herman has offered a scholarship to running back Corey Avery. Avery called the Ohio State offer “amazing.”

Wide receiver Demarre Kitt had narrowed his list down to three schools, however this past week he said a fourth school is still on his radar screen.

The Buckeyes recently offered a scholarship to 2015 defensive tackle Tim Settle and Settle said the offer made his day.

Last Sunday 2015 running back/athlete Jerome Baker, who the Buckeyes have offered, visited Ohio State.

On Wednesday I did a story on quarterback Stephen Collier and previewed a Thursday visit Tom Herman was going to make to watch Collier at his spring practice session.

Running back Jonathan Hilliman plans to visit Ohio State the weekend of June 2 when he is in Columbus for the Nike Football Training Camp at OSU that day.

Earlier this spring Kerry Coombs was in Indiana and stopped to check on wide receiver Terry McLaurin who performed very well at the Chicago Nike Football Training Camp.

The Buckeyes offered Florida defensive end Justus Reed this past week and Reed is looking forward to talking to Urban Meyer.

As you can see from above, it was another very busy week for Buckeye recruiting and another very, very busy week here at Bucknuts.com.
