The week started first thing Sunday morning with my Sunday feature. This past week I had the latest edition of my 2013 Ohio State Hot List which had plenty of change since the previous time I did this feature.

Who sits at the top of 5-star 2014 linebacker Raekwon McMillan's list?

On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had information on 2014 linebacker Raekwon McMillan and who a source close to McMillan says the 5-star backer has at the top of his list, what really happened in the Derrick Green situation and more.
Gary Housteau had a story this past week on 2014 offensive lineman Marcelys Jones, perhaps the next Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville star the Ohio State staff will pursue. Among other things, the 6-foot-5 and 325-pound Jones says he is a Buckeye fan.
Urban Meyer is looking for offensive play-makers for both his 2013 and 2014 recruiting classes and there were a number of those type prospects attending Friday Night Lights. Unfortunately one of them, wide receiver Austin Roberts, was not able to work out. But Roberts still feels like he could be in line for an Ohio State scholarship offer and he came away very impressed with what he saw at OSU.
2014 offensive lineman Brian Allen worked out at Friday Night Lights. Allen, one of the top rising junior offensive linemen in the Midwest, already has five Big Ten scholarship offers. The Buckeyes have not offered to this point, but the OSU staff made sure to let Allen know at Friday Night Lights that they are definitely interested.
2013 wide receiver Ryan Timmons attended two Ohio State football camps this summer including Friday Night Lights. In fact Timmons won the “Smoke House” as the fastest camper at Friday Night Lights. Timmons was told after camp that he has a shot at a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes.

Meyer would love to turn the tables on Brady Hoke and Michigan and start bringing the very top prospects in the state up north down to Ohio State. Meyer has the No. 1 2014 prospect in Michigan in mind, defensive end Malik McDowell, and McDowell is interested in Ohio State. In fact McDowell says OSU was one of his favorite schools when he was growing up.

It was another very busy week for Buckeye recruiting and another very busy week here at Bucknuts.com. We continue our wall-to-wall Buckeye recruiting coverage tomorrow with my Sunday feature which this week is the latest edition of my Ohio State 2013 Offers & Odds.
