Bill, O Brown doesn't fit what we've come to learn is the URBAN mold for offensive linemen. Is he just too good to pass up? I read something that had me questioning his mobility.

If that class comes to fruition and is a indcator of futue ones, they will have to drop Ohio from the team's name.

How can the number 1 player in his class (Hand) not be our number 1 recruit? Yes we are loaded on the DL, but when you have a legitimate chance to get the number 1 player in the class, why isn't he the number one priority?

Yeah, it's gotta be a weighted level of interest, or we could just look at the 247 rankings and see who the top rated guys are. The list seems to be a combination of our interest in a player and their interest in us, along with talent.

For those complaining about a lack of Ohio guys - I think it's pretty obvious that Urban tends to offer the elite players first, whether it's out-of-state or in Ohio. As we get closer to 2014 and we determine which elite players aren't interested in us, we'll start seeing more Ohio offers. You don't want to offer non-elite Ohio kids, because they're more likely to pick us early and leave us with fewer scholarships with elite kids. We tend to come back to solid Ohio kids as second options (like Darron Lee) later. Let's be honest, if Cravens, Vonn Bell, and Dymonte Thomas all picked us, Lee probably wouldn't be a Buckeye right now.
