Boarding House: Friday Edition

**Latest On Clark … We did some checking this morning and wide receiver James Clark (New Smyrna Beach, Fla./New Smyrna Beach) is still planning to make his unofficial visit to Florida this weekend. No surprise there. Our source tells us Clark has a pretty good idea of who his decision is coming down to and will make his choice either Sunday or Monday, but won’t go public with that decision until Wednesday morning when there will be a big ceremony at 9:30 in the New Smyrna Beach High School auditorium.

The Buckeyes took their last shot at Clark on Thursday.

Translated, Clark will make his choice between Ohio State and Florida very quickly after he finishes up his unofficial visit with the Gators this weekend. Our source also expects Clark to reveal his decision by the end of the day on Monday to at least the school he picks - and perhaps both Ohio State and Florida - but won’t go public with his choice until Wednesday.

The Buckeyes took their last shot on Thursday when Tom Herman and Zach Smith were in New Smyrna Beach and met with Clark’s dad. Now, as Tom Petty sang, “the wai-ai-ting is the hardest part…”

**Who Said To Simon? … With several former Buckeyes readying themselves for the upcoming NFL Draft, it was time for us to check back in with our trusty NFL scouting source. Over the next few Houses, we’ll share what we learned about the pro hopefuls. First up: John Simon.
