Boarding House: Friday Edition

**Two For Lew … On Wednesday one-time Ohio State linebacker commitment Lewis Neal announced he had committed to LSU. With that decision linebacker/defensive end Tyquan Lewis (Tarboro, N.C./Tarboro) became the Buckeyes’ main target to fill the spot Neal once had in Urban Meyer’s 2013 recruiting class.

Chase Farris

Where is Chase Farris lining up these days?

Lewis has Ohio State, LSU and North Carolina as his top three choices, but the Buckeyes’ main competition for Lewis appears to be the Tar Heels. Yes, Lewis says he will “probably” visit LSU in August and might select a college in September. But he also says he has not recently spoken with any of the LSU coaches.

The Tigers went hard after Neal and won out in that battle. Now look for Lewis to ultimately decide between Ohio State and North Carolina. Lewis hopes to get up to Ohio State this month with his mother and Meyer is going to make a strong pitch to get a commitment sooner rather than later in September.

**Rock Me Amedeo … We checked in with our extremely-close-to-the-basketball-team source to learn more about the lone member of Ohio State’s 2012 recruiting class: Italian shooting guard Amedeo Della Valle.
