**Trio Not Attending FNL … This morning Bill Kurelic previewed tonight’s Friday Night Lights which will include many of the top prospects on the Buckeyes’ recruiting board.

However, a few of names that have been bandied about on our Front Row message board were not included in Kurelic’s preview, most notably two outstanding 2014 prospects the Bucks have offered a scholarship, quarterback DeShaun Watson (Gainesville, Ga./Gainesville) and offensive lineman Demetrius Knox (Fort Worth, Texas/All Saints Episcopal), as well as 2014 wide receiver Rashaan Gaulden (Thompsons Station, Tenn./Independence).
Watson (despite his commitment to Clemson), Knox and Gaulden had hoped to make it to Friday Night Lights, but will not be able to. Watson says he is still interested in OSU and still plans to visit Ohio State at some point – most likely for a game this coming season.
Knox told Kurelic, “I definitely wish I could have” made it to Friday Night Lights. Adding, “There was just no way I could get up there.” Like Watson, Knox says he plans to visit Ohio State sometime in the future.
Gaulden told Kurelic his coach did not want him to miss two-a-day practices so he is not able to attend Friday Night Lights.
