**Could North Head North? … There is no doubt Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is hoping to land one more wide receiver in his 2013 recruiting class – an impact guy who defenses will need to account for. MarQuez North from Charlotte, N.C., is just that kind of guy and the good news is that his high school coach told Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports that he wants to make an official visit to Ohio State. The five schools North would like to take trips to are Ohio State, Florida, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee.

Why is true freshman Michael Thomas not getting any playing time for Ohio State thus far?
On the negative side, four of the five schools listed are southern schools. And from what we hear, those in the know don’t think there is much chance that North ends up leaving the South when all is said and done. Of course we know that when it comes to recruiting you never know what is going to happen if you get a prospect on campus for an official visit. And Meyer’s track record when it comes to recruiting speaks for itself.
But all that said, the odds of North ending up at Ohio State are definitely not in the Buckeyes’ favor even though he says Ohio State is one of the five schools he wants to visit.
The 6-foot-4, 212-pound North is ranked as the No. 10 WR in the country according to the 247Composite.
**Decisions, Decisions … Some have questioned Braxton Miller’s decision-making within the zone read. At times, it looks like he has kept it when he should have pitched it and vice versa, these pundits have said.
