**Talking Timmons … Wide receiver Ryan Timmons (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County) will make the trip up to Columbus tomorrow for the Ohio State-Nebraska game and is hoping to land a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes. If he does it will immediately vault Ohio State to the top or one of the top spots on his list.
Timmons's high school coach is a big fan of the Buckeyes.
Timmons worked out at one of Urban Meyer’s June football camp sessions and he was back at the end of July for Friday Night Lights. So certainly Timmons is familiar with OSU. But he has also heard quite a bit about Ohio State from his coach, Chris Tracy. Tracy is from Columbus and his father still lives in C-Bus. Tracy went to high school in Columbus his freshman and sophomore years before moving to Kentucky and attending Franklin County High School his junior and senior years. And according to Timmons, Tracy’s favorite team is – you guessed it – Ohio State.
Timmons will attend the Ohio State-Nebraska game with Tracy as well as at least one and perhaps two other Franklin County coaches.
