**Hearns KO’ed? … It was a very good weekend for the Buckeyes. At the Under Armour All-American game on Friday night the country’s No. 3 inside linebacker in the 247Sports rankings, Trey Johnson, announced a commitment to Ohio State. And then on Saturday at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl the country’s No. 100 overall prospect, linebacker Mike Mitchell, announced a commitment to Ohio State. And just like that there has been a huge infusion of talent to Urban Meyer’s 2013 recruiting class at a big position of need.

Hearns will not be making an official visit to Ohio State.

What do those commitments mean for Florida linebacker commitment James Hearns?

As of early Sunday night, even Hearns was not certain. He’s had an official visit scheduled to Ohio State for this coming weekend a while. As of early Sunday evening, Hearns was not certain if the visit was still on or not as space is tight in the Buckeyes 2013 recruiting class.

Well, by late Sunday night Hearns (and Bucknuts.com) had the answer as to what Johnson and Mitchell’s decisions meant to him. Hearns will not be making an official visit to Ohio State. From what we have ascertained, it was a mutual decision between Hearns and the Ohio State staff and the visit won’t be rescheduled.

** Just Get Through The Game … It was rumored for a while DeSoto (Texas) athlete Dontre Wilson was thinking about making an Ohio State visit after verbaling previously to Oregon.
