**Aaron, Percy Molds? … With Urban Meyer being in his first year as the Buckeyes’ coach, he of course has no former players that were stars for him at Ohio State that he can talk about. But he does have plenty of former Florida Gator greats he can bring up and he and his staff are not shy about doing so.

Is Mitchell's speed legit?
In his quest for star tight ends for his Ohio State roster Meyer has brought up tight end Aaron Hernandez and the way he was used at Florida. Meyer told Marcus Baugh he could be an Aaron Hernandez type tight end for the Buckeyes as example.
Meyer and his staff also often use Percy Harvin as an example with star wide receivers they are pursuing. One such case is Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield), a top 2014 wide receiver target.
Meyer has told Snodgrass he loves his speed and he thinks he can be a “Percy Harvin-type” player for the Buckeyes if he selects Ohio State. Snodgrass has a growing list of scholarship offers that includes Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Purdue, and there is no doubt he is seriously considering Meyer’s pitch to become a Buckeye.
**Rush To Judgment … For those who watched ‘The Opening’ on ESPN this weekend you saw Mike Mitchell run 4.39 in the 40-yard dash. And if you were like most of the football fans watching, you wanted Mitchell to play for your team because of his freakish measurables.
