**Offer Pending For Baker? … Defensive back/wide receiver Adrian Baker (Hollywood, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna) and approximately a dozen of his teammates camped at Ohio State at the end of June. The Buckeyes did not offer Baker a scholarship, but there was a lot of speculation they might after they received his transcripts.

The offer still hasn’t come, but Luke Fickell has let Baker know the Buckeyes are still interested and want to see him play the first couple of games this season.
Well, for his part Baker remains very interested in Ohio State. In fact, he recently talked to his high school coach and wants him to call OSU and see where things stand and if anything has changed. Baker verbally committed to Florida State over the weekend. But prior to that, Baker said an offer from the Buckeyes would definitely put Ohio State if not at the top of his list, than very close to it.
The 6-foot-1, 163-pound Baker is ranked as the No. 36 cornerback in the country by 247Sports and has a three-star rating.
