**Mc-Interested … Five-star 2014 linebacker Raekwon McMillan (Hinesville, Ga./Liberty County) was at Friday Night Lights this past weekend, though he did not work out. McMillan of course had received a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes long ago.
Has Guiton impressed staff?
Well, if you have any doubt about the Buckeyes interest in and desire to land McMillan, we are going to give one more bit of information to convince you. Though McMillan was not working out, he received arguably as much or more attention from the Ohio State staff than any prospect at the camp.
In fact at one point McMillan could be seen walking to the south end of Ohio Stadium with Ohio State Director of Player Personnel Mark Pantoni. The two headed from the field inside the stadium. When McMillan returned he continued to garner the attention of Pantoni and other Ohio State coaches.
Did it all work? It is too early to tell if McMillan will eventually be a Buckeye, but we continue to hear that at worst the Bucks don’t trail anyone at this point in their bid to land the super linebacker prospect.
**Guiton Is Fightin’ … We’ve heard Urban Meyer mention it publicly and apparently it’s not coachspeak: Ohio State’s staff is high on backup quarterback Kenny Guiton.
