**What Can Brown Do For OSU? … Five-Star 2014 cornerback Tony Brown (Beaumont, Texas/Ozen) has been busy with the start of football camp with his high school team and has not spent a lot of time lately on recruiting. In fact Brown hasn’t spoken much at all with recruiters in the past few weeks even though there are many in pursuit (he estimates his scholarship offer total to stand at 20). But today Brown plans to reach out to one school he is definitely interested in, Ohio State.

Brown's offer list is impressive.

“I’m going to call (Ohio State assistant) coach (Tom) Herman after practice,” Brown said. “I just want to check in with him.”

Brown, whose his list of offers includes Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M, TCU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Nebraska, had planned to attend Urban Meyer’s Friday Night Lights. However, when the opportunity to go to the Grid-Iron Kings in Florida came up he went to that instead. But Brown is looking forward to visiting Ohio State – it is just going to take some time because of how far away Brown lives.

“I’ll probably make Ohio State one of my official visits,” Brown said.

Brown is the No. 2 prospect in Texas, the country’s No. 3 cornerback and the country’s No. 15 overall prospect in the 247Sports rankings.
