**Elder (Ohio)Statesmen? … Cornelius Elder (Nashville, Tenn./Ensworth), who the Buckeyes are recruiting as a slot receiver, might be on the verge of setting up an official visit to Ohio State. Buckeye assistant Tim Hinton spoke with Elder’s mother a little over a week ago and Elder says the next time he speaks with the Buckeyes he will probably set up a date to visit Ohio State.
Elder has multiple options when it comes to school and his sport of choice.
Elder says Ohio State, Ole Miss and UCLA are three schools he will probably make official visits to. Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech are also definitely in the picture. In fact Elder is a huge priority for Vandy who is recruiting him as a running back, and some see the Commodores as the team to beat.
There is also the question with Elder as to which sport he will play in college. He is also a star on the basketball court and being recruited for hoops too though Thad Matta is not recruiting him.
**Anya Know That … Ohio State men’s basketball coach Thad Matta needs some players. In fact, he needs some big players. Matta reportedly made an in-home visit last night with a player who would definitely fit that category.
