**Panthers In The Way?… Our friends over at Panther247 are optimistic Class of 2013 Pennsylvania natives offensive lineman Dorian Johnson and wide receiver Robert Foster will end up at Pitt.

That would certainly not be good news here in Buckeye land – especially with Johnson, who is the Buckeyes No. 1 remaining offensive line target. Johnson is quite possibly the only offensive lineman Urban Meyer would add to his 2013 recruiting class.
There is also the feeling at Panther 247 that Pitt is in good shape with Ohio State Class of 2014 safety target Montae Nicholson.
While we are also hearing Johnson and Foster are leaning towards Pitt, we are not hearing the same on Nicholson. Nicholson, who the Buckeyes offered on Tuesday, has been to Ohio State twice in the last four months. We are hearing that if the Buckeyes don’t have the lead, they at least are not trailing Pitt or anyone else for Nicholson.
Stay tuned on Nicholson – and don’t give up on either Johnson or Foster, but especially Johnson.
**Monitoring Mickey … It seems Class of 2013 power forward Jordan Mickey could be close to making a decision and Ohio State is in the thick of it.
