**Marshall Plan? … When the Buckeyes were recruiting Jalin Marshall both Urban Meyer and Tom Herman told him they wanted to get the ball in his hands. They said he would have the chance to play quarterback if that is what he wanted, but he also could make plays as potentially a receiver or all-purpose back. Meyer and Herman told Marshall they just want him to “make plays.”

This young linebacker has shown signs of becoming a star. Click through for the info.
Now fast forward to the half-way point of Marshall’s senior season and you hear the same thing from Middletown head coach Troy Everhart. While there are some that feel there is no way Marshall plays quarterback for the Buckeyes, Everhart disagrees saying Marshall is such a talented athlete he can do whatever he sets his mind to.
The Buckeyes’ offensive needs playmakers and the goal will be to get the ball in Marshall’s hands and let him do just that - make plays once he arrives in Columbus. Leave it to Meyer and Herman to figure out that best ways for that to happen once Marshall gets to Ohio State.
**Grading Out Garrett? … Hankins. Simon. Heck, even Washington and Spence. The Buckeyes defensive line has names that grab headlines. Goebel? Not so much. But maybe it should.
