Boarding House: Tuesday Edition

**No Package Deal? … Urban Meyer signed defensive end/linebacker Jamal Marcus out of Durham High in Hillside, N.C. in his first Ohio State recruiting class. There are two Class of 2014 standouts at Marcus’s alma mater drawing plenty of interest from recruiters: wide receiver Trevion Thompson and running back Donte Thomas-Williams.

Will this receiver be an immediate contributor? Click through for the answer ...

Both Thompson and Thomas-Williams say the Buckeyes have offered. But from what we hear in the case of Thomas-Williams, there has not been a lot of contact recently. In the case of Thompson, North Carolina and Clemson are making the strongest pitch right now.

Even though Ohio State is thought by some to be the co-leader for Thompson (with Clemson), we see other wide receivers on board more likely to end up at Ohio State. It is a long way to National Signing Day, but we certainly don’t think this a “package deal” of Thompson and Thomas-Williams. In fact, we don’t expect either to end up at Ohio State.

Stay tuned …
