**Tryin’ For Ryan? … Some fans have been clamoring on the Front Row message board for the Buckeyes to offer a scholarship to 2013 wide receiver/running back Ryan Timmons from Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County. The 5-foot-11 and 180-pound Timmons has been having a spectacular senior season that includes 27 touchdowns in the first seven games of the season. Timmons has 17 rushing touchdowns, eight receiving and two on kickoff returns.

Ohio State is definitely interested in Timmons.
While the Buckeyes haven’t offered, they are definitely interested. In fact Timmons talks to either Ohio State assistant coach Zach Smith or Tim Hinton almost every week.
So what position is the OSU staff talking about if Timmons were to be offered and end up selecting Ohio State – wide receiver or running back?
The answer is both. Urban Meyer as well as Smith and Hinton have told Timmons he could do multiple things for the Buckeyes – quite possibly playing both wide receiver and lining up some in the backfield as a running back. And yes, that role at Ohio State highly interests Timmons.
Timmons has narrowed his list of offers down to Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Illinois and Purdue, and then Ohio State if the Buckeyes offer.
**Do You See What I See? … While every Ohio State fan is beyond excited about Braxton Miller – and rightfully so – the coaching staff is concerned about one glaring problem regarding the sophomore quarterback.
