**Waiting In Line? … Wide receiver/running back Ryan Timmons (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County) was among the huge and talented group of recruits in Ohio Stadium on Saturday night looking on as the Buckeyes whipped Nebraska. The Bucks have not offered Timmons a scholarship, but are definitely interested and could offer at some point.

Timmons may have to wait on fellow Kentucky native James Quick to see if an offer is in the cards.
The 5-foot-11 and 180-pound Timmons has been putting up spectacular numbers this season including this past Friday. The night before he headed to Columbus, Timmons led his team to victory No. 8 on the season without a loss. Timmons touched the ball 10 times and produced over 300 yards of offense. He rushed six times for 156 yards and caught four passes for 148 yards. Timmons had six touchdowns including a long punt return.
It is no wonder some OSU fans on the Front Row are clamoring for the Buckeyes to offer Timmons. Against almost any type of competition those numbers are video-game like. The problem for Timmons right now is that Urban Meyer has a shot at some other wide receiver/slot prospects such as James Quick, Cornelius Elder, Sebastian LaRue and Shelton Gibson, are all considering Ohio State and are higher on the Buckeyes board than Timmons is.
**Devon’s Deal? … Wide receiver Devon Allen from Phoenix, Ariz., recently said Ohio State did not make the cut for his final five. We initially found that odd, but after checking in with a source, it all made sense.
*And why is what?
*Stadium effect?
*Staff's biggest concern?
*Freshman backs getting it?
