Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Not Strung Out ... The Buckeyes’ search for wide receivers – well at least one great wide receiver addition – to their 2013 recruiting class continues. The names have long been out there and include James Quick, Shelton Gibson, Cornelius Elder and Tony Stevens.

Barker spoke to Urban today ...

But one other name that continues to come up “off and on” is DeMorea Stringfellow (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde). Stringfellow committed to Washington, but we all know a little thing like a commitment is not going to stop Urban Meyer and Co. from making their pitch. And they have made their pitch for Stringfellow. But this one appears dead.

“They’re not recruiting me anymore,” Stringfellow said when asked about Ohio State. “They were. But I’ve decided I’m done now with recruiting. I told them I’m going to Washington.”

Back to Quick, Gibson, Elder and Stevens …

**Haynes Ripple Effect? … We checked in with a person who knows new Kent State head coach Paul Haynes personally to see what effect his hiring might have at Ohio State.
