Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Kyle In Style … A year ago as Urban Meyer was making his pitch to “flip” offensive lineman Kyle Dodson from his Wisconsin commitment to Ohio State, Meyer also made his first 2013 Ohio State scholarship offer and it went out to Dodson’s teammate, wide receiver Shelton Gibson. This weekend, Gibson will make an official visit to Ohio State and almost certainly will spend some time with Dodson.

Dodson was one of the prizes of Meyer’s 2012 recruiting class.

Dodson was one of the prizes of Meyer’s 2012 recruiting class, but because he had shoulder surgery he ended up redshirting his first year at Ohio State. But our source tells us Dodson’s recovery from surgery and first year at OSU “went great.” Dodson is currently penciled in as the No. 2 left tackle behind Jack Mewhort. Our source said the OSU staff is high on Dodson and expects him to have a great career in Columbus.

Whether that might mean a move next season to Reid Fragel’s right tackle spot remains to be seen.
