Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Final Chomp? … Ohio State and Florida have both offered wide receiver James Clark and wide receiver/running back Ryan Timmons (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County). Whether both schools will have room for Timmons in the end remains to be seen, but there is little doubt both definitely want Clark.

Captain Evan?

There have been rumblings Clark might want to play in a “spread” offense in college which would favor Ohio State and perhaps Clemson.

On the other hand we are hearing from a good source in the Sunshine State the Gators staff feels good about their chances with Clark, especially since they get the last shot. Clark will take an unofficial visit to see the Gators this weekend.

The visit doesn’t guarantee Clark will stay-in state. But it does play in Florida’s favor.

**Future Captain? …Ohio State wide receiver Evan Spencer had just 12 receptions for 136 yards (11.3 yards per catch) and did not see the end zone as a sophomore in 2012. One catch per game and no scores? Not exactly what Spencer was hoping for during his second year in the program.

*So where to go from here?

*Clark's impending call?

*Concerned about Tigers?

*Risky acquisition?
