Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Lawrence Of …? … You knew it was probably going to happen. In the House yesterday we said Ohio State Class of 2014 defensive end commitment Lawrence Marshall (Southfield, Mich./Southfield) had been invited to the Michigan at Michigan State basketball game – and yes, Marshall was in attendance as a guest of the Spartans on Tuesday night.

And to be honest, it is almost hard to blame him for going to a game of that magnitude.

“Yeah I was there,” Marshall said in a text very late on Tuesday night. “I had a good talk with coach D (Dantonio).”

So what does it mean when it comes to Marshall’s commitment to the Buckeyes whom he visited last weekend?

“Yeah,” Marshall quickly responded when asked if he is still committed to Ohio State.

The 6-foot-3 and 225-pound Marshall picked OSU over scholarship offers from Michigan State, Michigan and a number of others. In addition to the Spartans, the Wolverines have not given up on Marshall and we wouldn’t be surprised if he made a Michigan visit too in the coming weeks.

**Semi-nots … Speaking at the Ohio North-South Classic event last week in Columbus, Buckeyes Class of 2013 signee Christopher Worley from Cleveland Glenville talked about one prominent program’s attempt to flip him in the waning moments before National Signing Day.
