Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Chasin’ Mason? … Each winter the question comes up, are there any “sleepers” out there that could perhaps end up in the Buckeyes’ class? Well we have an early “sleeper” today. Mason Morgan (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) played tight end during his junior season. But Morgan, at 6-foot-6 and 232-pounds, has plenty of growth potential and could perhaps move to another position in college.

Matuska will play his college football in South Bend.

Urban Meyer’s staff is aware of Morgan. In fact he attended a Buckeye junior day in February, marking the first time Morgan had visited OSU. Morgan probably won’t be tight end prospect for the Buckeyes. But Meyer and his staff are looking for a leaner brand of offensive lineman than the previous Ohio State staff, and Morgan is a guy that could be someone the OSU staff will look at down the road as an offensive tackle candidate.

**Irish Advantage? … We checked with our inside sources at Ohio State to find out why one of the best tight end/defensive end combos in Ohio walked away without an offer ...

*So what was the reason(s)?

*Same goes for McCray: Why no offer?

*Will Ohio roots lead an Arizona prospect to Columbus?

*A look at the incumbent quarterbacks, starting with Kenny Guiton
