**New Running Man? … The Buckeyes don’t seem to be looking to add another running back to their 2013 recruiting class, but the names keep popping up. Yesterday in The House we told you there were rumblings the Buckeyes would have an interest in former Oklahoma running back commitment Greg Bryant (Delray Beach, Fla./American Heritage) who landed an Ohio State offer early in the recruiting process.

Lynch was a highly-regarded prospect at Attica (N.Y.) St. Francis before heading for State College.
The newest running back name to be connected to the Buckeyes is 2012 Penn State signee Akeel Lynch. Lynch is considering staying at Penn State, but according to a source he is also talking about Iowa, Ohio State and North Carolina State. Lynch is planning to visit NC State in the near future.
As a high school senior at Attica (N.Y.) St. Francis, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound Lynch had offers from Penn State, Oklahoma, Iowa, Illinois and Syracuse, among others. He received a 92 rating from 247Sports and was the No. 19 running back in the country. As a point of reference, Ohio State signee Warren Ball also had a 92 rating and was the country’s No. 15 running back.
Urban Meyer has said he is not planning to go after Penn State players and last week OSU assistant Zach Smith let Derrick Green know the decision had been made not to take another running back in the Buckeyes’ 2013 recruiting class. But we will still stay on top of the situation with Lynch.
**Hail Mary Needed? … About halfway through Friday Night Lights you could see Buckeye Nation falling in love with speedster Shelton Gibson from Cleveland Heights.
*What is Gibson's remaining challenge?
*Obsessed with 'Ohio'?
*Formation changes?
*Allen impressed?
