**Campbell In QB Soup … Much has been said and written about the 2014 quarterbacks Urban Meyer and Tom Herman are recruiting. And for good reason – Meyer will sign a quarterback in his 2014 recruiting class.

Campbell named Ohio State as one of the schools he wants to visit.

But Meyer is always aggressively recruiting and he is definitely aware of 2015 quarterback Jayru Campbell (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech). The 6-foot-3 and 190-pound Campbell led Cass Tech to a state championship his freshman season when he threw for over 1,800 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Campbell was at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp in Detroit this summer and so was Meyer. Since then the Buckeyes have been showing interest in Campbell.

“They said they are going to come see me play,” Campbell said. “I’ve watched a couple of their games. They use their quarterback to do a lot of things.”

Campbell went on to name Ohio State as one of the schools he wants to visit.

It’s early to be talking about 2015 recruiting – but not too early for Meyer. If Campbell is not on your Ohio State recruiting list, put him on there. He is on the Buckeyes’ list.
