**Big On Barrett … Braxton Miller is having an outstanding sophomore season in leading the Buckeyes to a 5-0 start. And it certainly has to be encouraging to Ohio State fans that Miller has two and a half seasons left for the Buckeyes.

Barrett knows Miller is going to be the Buckeyes’ quarterback, but would love to get on the field as the No. 2 guy.
But Urban Meyer also has a commitment from the country’s No. 1 high school dual-threat quarterback, JT Barrett, who will step foot on campus in January as he graduates early and gets a head start on his Ohio State career.
According to Barrett’s head coach at Wichita Falls (Texas) Rider, Barrett will head to Ohio State in just over three months ready to compete, but also very aware of the situation.
“He will be a competitor,” Rider coach Jim Garfield said. “He won’t be satisfied to be a back-up. He knows what he has to accomplish. But he will be patient.”
In other words, Barrett knows Miller is going to be the Buckeyes’ quarterback, but would love to get on the field as the No. 2 guy, or if Miller were to go down with an injury. Barrett is going to work as hard as he can to play as soon as he can, but knows he may have to wait his turn.
