Boarding House: Wednesday Edition

**Not To Be Lured … When Columbus Hartley hosted Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers a few weeks ago, Ohio State assistant coach Luke Fickell was in attendance. He was there to watch Hartley junior athlete Alonzo Saxton, who already has a number of Big Ten scholarship offers. But on the Bishop Luers sideline was 5-star linebacker Jaylon Smith, who committed to Notre Dame over scholarship offers from Ohio State and many others.

Relax Brian Kelly, he's yours.

Fickell spent time on both sides of the field, spurring speculation the Buckeyes were making another pitch for Smith. With that in mind we checked with a source close to Smith. We were told there is no big second pitch by the Buckeyes and for good reason. The source said Smith is, “all Blue and Gold. He is signed, sealed and delivered to Notre Dame.”

And there you have it.

**Irish Eyes … The Class of 2014 is a strong one in Ohio and one prospect with a Buckeye offer appears to be impressed with the “return” of the aforementioned traditional Midwest power.

*And the name is ...?

*The Real Housewives of Columbus goes on?

*Banged up ... up front?

*Wide receiver rising?
