Our coverage began on Sunday with my Sunday feature which this past week was the latest edition on my 2013 Ohio Top 15. The Buckeyes have dominated the very top of my list, but are still going after some others on my Top 15.
On Monday morning I posted the latest edition of What I Am Hearing. In this edition I had information on Robert Foster smoothing things over with the Buckeyes, what more than one source has told me about the Alex Anzalone situation, Jalin Marshall going one up on Michigan bound quarterback Shane Morris and much more.
On Monday OSU offensive line coach Ed Warinner stopped at the schools of two outstanding prospects from the state of Pennsylvania, the country’s No. 2 offensive tackle prospect Dorian Johnson and safety/athlete Delton Williams. Johnson will visit Ohio State in late June. Williams may also visit OSU in June and dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes when he was younger.
One of the country’s top prospects, 5-star defensive end Jonathan Allen, was excited about recently receiving a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes.
The Ohio State staff is working ahead on their 2014 class and running back Mikel Horton is a very good sophomore they are interested in. In fact Horton talks to OSU assistant Kerry Coombs every Monday.
The Buckeyes were in south Florida this past week and one of the prospects they were checking on was sophomore offensive lineman Kc McDermott. McDermott is one of the country’s top 2014 offensive tackle prospects and has family ties to the state of Ohio.
One-time Buckeye commitment Lewis Neal called Urban Meyer on Thursday and the two talked about a number of things including Neal visiting Ohio State again.
One of the most recent scholarship offers the Ohio State staff has extended went to California wide receiver Demorea Stringfellow. Stringfellow has already decided he will make an official visit to Ohio State.
It was another very busy week for Buckeye recruiting and another very busy week here at Bucknuts.com. That is not going to change and the week begins here tomorrow with my Sunday feature. Tomorrow I will have the start of my series breaking down Ohio State offers and odds. My 2013 Ohio State Offers & Odds series starts again tomorrow with quarterbacks and running backs.
