When UFM said he and the staff were 'killing it' on 2013 recruiting, he wasn't kidding. They are all over the best kids east of the Mississippi at positions of need. It's amazing.
The other thing that's amazing is the reaction of parents -- particularly fathers -- to meetings with Meyer. It is uniformly positive. Explaining, honestly and directly, that he needed to see Aaron throw live before he'd be able to extend an offer was received very positively by Aaron's dad. Meyer takes this stuff seriously and I think dads/parents respect that. The best parents want it. They can get smoke blown up 'em anywhere -- I think they respect Urban Meyer's expertise and value his judgment.
Please come back this Spring, Aaron, and have some fun throwing the ball around for Coach Meyer. Bring your mom and dad.

Guys I live out here in Chicago area. Actually same hometown as Brian Bobek. I plan on going to see him play this year. By no means do I consider myself someone who is the end all be all when it comes to scouting. But I will report back what I see and I plan on going to a game when he plays top competition.
