For many fans, spring practice is the oasis in the long desert that is the college football offseason. Starting Tuesday, football will be a focus again, and we're talking all about it on the latest version of the Bucknuts 90.

Oversight. Plain and simple, just was so excited to get to Zeke that I left a major contributor out. He'll be fighting for a spot with Brionte & Ball this year.

Hey Dave Biddle, do you remember my wife Holly Blakely from Wright State? She worked in the writing center. She says you went on a trip to New York City with a bunch of the teachers from WSU. You can see our wedding pic on my account.

Yes, I remember her face. The trip to NYC in '99 was part of a "Young Journalists" convention ... nothing to do with teachers. But I did go through the education department at WSU. For a while I couldn't decide if I wanted to be a sportswriter, or a teacher/coach. So, I trained for both while in college. Did student teaching and everything. But yes, we got to go on a free trip to NYC my senior year when I was the sports editor of our campus newspaper. While we were there the Buckeyes beat St. John's to go to the Final Four. We were watching in a NYC bar next to some Red Storm fans who were not too happy! I remember watching OSU's regional semifinal win over No. 1-seeded Auburn while there too.
Anyway, tell Holly I said hi.
