On Friday night Hunt had a long talk with two Ohio State assistant coaches including offensive line coach Ed Warinner.

Two Buckeye coaches met with OL Cameron Hunt on Friday night and Hunt now has a scholarship offer and is tentatively set to make an official visit to Ohio State.

Thanks Bill. It would appear that Hunt is the more versatile of the two lineman we are looking at(T,G oe C). I honestly am worried about Skipper's 6'10" height. and might be happier to bank the schollie for 2014 if Skipper ends up our only option.

Good looking frame. Glad he is going to visit. Trying to figure out how we fit an another offensive lineman in with Gibson, Worley and hopefully Bell. And Wilson is still a long shot you do not decline if he wants in.

I think this smells like we have a lineman transferring. For a little bit they were okay with just two lineman it seems. Tommy Brown on his way out??

Or it smells like we don't have enough quality linemen...
Baldwin and Brown will never see the field....and Underwood is in that conversation at least...

There's an exception to every rule. Meyer and Warriner are personally involved in the OL recruitment process. While it's great to hear all the insiders' input on the recruitment, one never knows exactly what is in Meyer's mind. His overall record is so great that I trust in his judgment while conceding that even he is not perfect. It's good to hear everyone's highly valued opinions and to be able to see this recruiting situation from all perspectives. Let's see how this one plays out.

Nate Solder out of Colorado was listed at 6'9" and was drafted in the first round by the Patriots. Watching his film, he bends his knees real well for such a tall guy, in both pass protection and run blocking. I'd rather have Skipper than Hunt.
