I'm not sure if I am the only one who has noticed Ron Tanner seems to be the host of quite a few recruits. It can never hurt to have a kid like him who grew up dreaming of playing for OSU, is local, and absolutely gets what it means to be a Buckeye. Not to mention he is known to be a good student which is probably comforting to a potential recruits parents. There is obviously buy in with this kid (same with Shazier as I have seen his name as host quite a bit as well); he may be just as important in closing the deals. I know nothing earth shattering but I bet behind closed doors vitally important.

I like this guy, despite that fact I don't think he'll be wearing Scarlet & Grey. He's played the recruiting process close to the vest all along. I don't think anyone has a clue at this point where he'll end up.

I have zero issues with Urb and his ability to close! We will get either Cox or Bradley!

I am getting tired of the last few recruits just taking their sweet old time. I know that they have the right to take it down to the wire, but I think at this stage in the game, you should have a good idea and really be narrowing it down. The prima donnas do not tend to live up to expectations

Murrays twitter said he was excited to transition from high school safety to a college cb. I know our numbers we only have 3 cbs on ships. I remember stories sayin Murray locked em down at camps and Im sure everybody saw the hits against Mooney. I think he will be a stud cb. I feel like Roby Grant Murray he hold us over until help arrives w Burrows Woodward Dawson

I forgot Reeves. I didnt mention Howard bc I just dont think hes a good corner. imho Howard is most over hyped player on roster and very rarely comes up w big plays

i wondered that about Murray. i thought he seemed small for a safety. he has typical size for a cornerback. rivals did bump him up to a 4 star, so he's definitely got the talent. i think our depth at cb is more thin than at safety.

Bill, we are waiting on two safeties and one corner. Would they take the first two to commit or would they just take one of the safeties and save a spot for the corner?
