    • OK. They saw their mistakes and they practiced angles and tackling to the ground. If any of this occurs this week it would seem (other than the opponent executing perfectly which given the opposition should not happen) then the blame falls directly on the players shoulders. I would be surprised if we don't see better tackling and angles this week but if we do I will be even more surprised if we don't see the guilty party/parties trotting to the sideline with a replacement coming in for them.

    • It sticks out to me that 3 of those 6 plays (including the 80 yard TD run) were packed into just the 3rd quarter of the Cal game.

      The whole team came out flat after that halftime . . .

      The blitzing adjustment seemed to work, I hope the alignment is the second (and last step) to getting this D where it needs to be!
