Lombard (Ill.) Montini Catholic defensive lineman Dylan Thompson reported to 247Sports that he committed to Ohio State on Saturday during his visit to Columbus.
"Everything felt perfect," Thompson said. "It was the exact fit I was looking for."
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Thompson was offered by the Buckeyes back in February and instantly became the team to beat.
Ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 17 strong-side defensive end, Thompson also had offers from the likes of Arkansas, Clemson, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Purdue, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Recruited by Buckeyes assistant Mike Vrabel, Thompson is the fifth commit for Ohio State in the class-of-2014 and the first defensive lineman.
Thompson has helped Montini Catholic win two-straight state championships.
