    • 34-17 OSU.
Like Penn State winning 5 in a row against Navy, Temple, hapless Illinois and Iowa and NW at home, the media made way too much of beating 5 stiffs and most had them beating OSU in HV. The second half we outclassed them grossly.
Michigan has lost soundly by double digits to the three best teams they played in Notre Dame, Bama and Nebraska, and should have lost to Northwestern in AA. Air Force had the last drive to win in AA, and left at least 10 points in the red zone and they drove on that defense with ease, just like NW did.
Michigan needed a last second FG to beat MSU at home, and did not score TD's against Nebraska, MSU or Notre Dame.
Now after scoring a lot of points against a slow Northwestern defense (Nebraska had 570 yards against them, and Penn State close to 500 and points in the mid 30's), and horrible Iowa and Minnesota defenses, Michigan's offense is alive with Gardner.
Another product of facing bad defenses and media overhype like Penn State in their 5 game win streak.
OSU has been battled tested with tough road wins at MSU, at Penn State and at Wisconsin, and we played off a tough home crowd and blew out Nebraska, who is going to finish 11-2 and go to the Rose Bowl.
OSU wins by 17 or more here, it is senior day, Meyer will go for the jugular, they have all the quotes of Michigan players running their mouths out and about, and it is our bowl game.

    • One thing in this game is of importance...for Meyer to get his Buckeyes into the red-zone..what do we have in scoring percentage from there..like 95-97%? I knew when we went into overtime we would win aganist Wisconsin because of that. Braxton Miller is almost impossible tostop once we reach the opponents -20 yard line...its kind of like a wolf smelling fresh kill.......if we can get down there enough we will win this game easily.....relying on big plays for scores has worked in some games for us, but the tough ones we have ground out down in the Red Zone....also I do not think the Wolverines have a clue how to stop Carlos Hyde down there....we need to pound him and pound him.......one other thing is true..ouir receivers are going to have to catch the ball when its catchable......including Jake Stone-Hands! No drive killing drops..please!

    • I don't agree with Bently in regards to the the Big Ten expansion. Adding teams is good business and it has always been a business. No reason to list all the positives but his (and like a lot of critics) opinion is very short sighted. In 10 years, Delaney will be hailed as a genius. IMO

You're absolutely right. The Bucks have been lights-out good in the red zone. Let's hope it continues one more week.

I still have flashbacks of '96. Everyone remembers the "Springs slips" play. I remember the three times with a first-and-goal in the first half and settling for field goals each time. Instead of 21 points at halftime, the Bucks had 9. Lost the game 13-9. The 1996 Buckeyes were the best team in the nation bar none. Unbelievable they lost that game.

Maybe games like that is why I loved Tressel so much. 9-1 against Michigan (technically 8-1). No coach in the modern era has dominated this rivalry like Jim Tressel.

    • PS: Yea, that's the first thing I think when I see Urban: "fake enthusiasm." lol what a douche.....

    • My question is " how did WI limit Braxton" ? Did they put a spy on him or did they take away the corner. How ever they did it, we should do the same on MI Robinson. Seems like MI passer is better than WI. So do they blitz more? If they press cover, can the WI passer hurt us?

    • Good show today. I was actually shocked to hear the tone of the Michigan blogger's voice. He seemed resigned that Michigan will lose and his prediction and explanation seemed reasonable.

I know ... that completely raised my confidence level even more that OSU will win. Haha. He seems to think OSU will dominate on both lines and I think he's right. There is no comparison when you look at these respective O-lines and D-lines. One team has future NFL players on both lines. The other team is TTUN.

As much as David Molk was a loud-mouthed punk, that was a big loss for them. He was a four-year starter at center.
