Well, I certainly hear where you're coming from LW, but if Meyer is "coming after (him) pretty hard" as Thomas said, that's good enough for me. I think Urban looks at it as "If you committed before I was named OSU's head coach, you're fair game. Unless you tell me to back away." From talking to Thomas, it doesn't sound like he is telling OSU to back away. In fact, if anything, he seems to like the fact that OSU is charging hard after him. At the same time, I fully expect him to honor his verbal and end up at Mich, he does seem sold on the Wolverines, but if he's willing to leave the door cracked, and Meyer still wants to recruit him aggressively, we'll probably interview him again on FRR a few months down the line to see where things stand.

He's all Michigan we lost him last year! !! Cant get them all .....

PS -- the 'he didn't say to back off' standard is an awful one. He will never say 'back-off' as long as he gets interviewed by Buckeye publications and staff keeps pursuing him. He'll never say 'Yes' either.

Again, I see where you're coming from, but it's important to point out that Kalis told Meyer he was 100 percent Wolverine when he called and Meyer backed off. Dymonte did not tell Meyer he was 100 percent Wolverine. Unless he just wants the attention, it would be real easy for Dymonte to say "There is absolutely no chance I'm switching my commitment." Plenty of recruits have taken that stance in the past.

But, again, I fully expect Thomas to stick with Mich. (It would be fun if Urban flipped him though, if nothing else than to get under the skin of Hoke and UM fans.)

He did the interview because he attended the Columbus Touchdown Club dinner on Saturday and Dave Biddle approached him there. He wore Maize 'n Blue colors to the dinner, shouted out "Go Blue" during his introduction and tweeted the fun fact to his Wolverine fans and future teammates on Monday morning. In his tweets he referred to the Columbus Touchdown Club annual dinner as "my banquet down in Columbus' and reported he'd shouted out "Go Blue after my speech." Said he laughed his FAO.

He will take every opportunity that any naive Buckeye reporter gives him to mock tOSU by shouting out his allegiance to scUM. It's ridiculously easy and way too much fun for Dymonte to resist. I just hope folks will stop giving him these opportunities to publicly diss tOSU in Buckeye fan publications . If he wants to change his commitment to tOSU, give him the publicity that would warrant. If he doesn't, leave him alone -- or at least stop leading with Urban Meyer's chin.
