Bellamy situation seems very odd to me. Played a lot last year and now doesn't want to play football anymore? Seems like something is being left out. Either way good luck to him.

Outstanding. Easier to talk about good stuff, but Coach is impressively candid about individuals performances. Building a team by being truthful and forthright, very nice.

I thought that Urban's explanation of the Defensive set used aganist Miami was interesting and informative....i.e. "we dropped 8 back and sent in 3"...Dysert was taking a 3 step drop to avoid Big Hank and our linemen, so he could get the ball away quick"... (or to that effect).
If you were questioning why we didn't come at the passer wiht our ears pinned back, that may help. I noticed that when Dysert was "flushed" from the pocket and it collasped, he had less control, but still completed a couple of miracle throws for first downs. Dysert is a good passer and was a good test for these young Buckeyes in their first game....he may be the best passer we will see all season....

Does this mean that DLs and LBs didn't have very good days?

Carlos Hyde graded as a champion but we have posters who don't like him. I'm excited that when Urban doesn't work out we can resort to several cheaper and obviously more dedicated options straight from this board in lieu of the inconvenience of a coaching search.

I loved JT's record of accomplishment and his values, but he drove me nuts with his close to the "vest" style. Meyer proves you can be a "real" person and still be successful. Just takes confidence and trust in others.

Love that Urban loves Adam Griffin. Sounds like he is on pace to be at least a special teams demon, which would make him worth the scholarship alone.
