Simon is a game-time decision.
Welcome to our live game thread for "The Game" -- Michigan at Ohio State.
The No. 4 Buckeyes (11-0, 7-0 Big Ten) are 4-point favorites over the No. 20 Wolverines (8-3, 6-1) and are aiming for just the sixth perfect season in OSU history. Can they pull if off?
Word leaked out Friday night via our media partners at NBC4 in Columbus that Ohio State senior defensive lineman John Simon did not practice all week due to an undisclosed injury and is a game-time decision. However, Simon has been dealing with serious ailments all season and we're sure he'll at least try and give it a go today in his final collegiate game. Especially considering who the opponent is.
The Wolverines have their own uncertainty -- at the ever-important quarterback position where it will be interesting to see how they split the snaps between Denard Robinson and Devin Gardner. And UM is sure to use the players on the field together at times, too.
Ohio State appears to have a clear advantage on both lines and this game is usually won in the trenches. Sit back, relax and enjoy what is always the proverbial "Super Bowl" in this part of the country, the annual OSU-UM game.
