Did a great visit from one of the top offensive tackle prospects on the East Coast have Urban Meyer near landing another top offensive lineman for his 2013 recruiting class?

Lazard, Pocic, or Johnson seem to be the most likely. What about that Montelus kid?

With Lisle already committed, Pocic and Lazard considered " TOSU locks" that would make three OL commits for the 2013 class. I would still love to have Montelus. Kids a beast and will be a good one

This is just fun watching a coach with a national plan, sucks to be you Big 10, game has changed and we have all the pieces, enjoy next year it will be the last year without The Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game!

As time goes by, I'm really starting to dislike the whole "limited scholarships" thing more and more. If roster numbers were normal, kids like Caleb Day and Lovell Peterson may not be on the outside like they are now.

"I am very interested to see a film of Marcell Lazard. I have not seen one play from this kid but he has offers from Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, Miami (Fla.) and Maryland. An interesting note: He is from New Jersey but does not hold offers from Penn State, Boston College or Rutgers. I would love to see a better film of Jon Montelus. His list is blowing up. He has Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, Nebraska and Boston College. His film is not very good: http://247sports.com/Player/John-Montelus-17576/Videos/John-Montelus-404438
Too much of it is far away from a bad angle to see him and badly lit. What I do get a good look at makes me want to see more. I think I could get to like Montelus a lot. He is also 16 years old. He will not be 17 until September."

Nonotagain, I think you have to consider that he plays Right Tackle. Most of the ranked premier tackles in the country play left tackle. If I had to guess, its probablt in the 90-95% range now.
This kid is an excellent right tackle right now. No need to change positions.

Yes, I have complete and utter trust in Urb and his incredible staff BUT I must say I am a bit underwhelmed/surprised at the lack of "all everything" recruits out side of the first four or so who committed. Sounds like a solid RT of the future though and an offer list that is not too shabby either.

It would be nice to get those 2 extra Oline guys but we are limited this year so 3 will work ..... Thank God we get 2!!!!!!

Actually the other big ten coaches probably like that urban recruits nationally because it allows them to go after Ohio kids we don't offer.
I hope this pays off for us because there will be lots of ohio kids playing for sparty braska and ttun.

Lazard is very raw, and offers from Miami, Michigan, Florida, WVU (preseason top 10 and the Orange Bowl champ) and others is impressive.
Sounds like Lazard should be a Buckeye.
I trust someone I talk to, I think Pocic will be as well.
That gives us Lazard, Pocic and Lisle, now you can cherry pick a 4th/5th kid depending on the numbers.
