In his last 18 games Timmons has touched the ball 154 times rushing and receiving for 3,895 yards. Timmons has averaged 25 yards per touch in those 18 games with 62 touchdowns.

Ryan Timmons heads to Ohio State on Saturday very excited - and for good reason. Timmons says he has been told the Buckeyes are very close to offering him a scholarship.

i say take timmons and its not like we have speed at the wr!! outside of philly and devon. speed is what makes oregon hard to stop and that is what our offense will be once the right players are in it!! i feel we need at least 4 wr in this class and 5 if we get some waste of a scholarship wr to leave, fields =bust & hopefully he transfers, southward=slow & rumors of him transferring. jalen, jacobs, gibson(grades right), larue(longshot), timmons or elder or both.

I was not aware of those numbers. He does not leap out at me on film but those numbers cannot be ignored.

Bill and Duane, knowing that he has that kind of speed would it change his place on your "wish list"?

Mitchell, McMillan, Bell, Johnson top the priority list for me. In the next wave I like Quick, Elder, Timmons, Worley and Gibson in that order but realize we will probably only take two. Gibson would be right behind Quick if it were not for the grade issue. Just fear that even if he qualifies he will have a tough time maintaining eligibility once he gets in the class.

In my arrogant opinion, we do not get CornBall (BBall that is), We get Quicker, with Stevens,Timmons ,and after the ACT tess scores come in, (at the end of oct.),maybe Professer Gibson. Timmons is way better than this board realizes,mutch faster than anybody we have on board. Just look at those numbers,the guy is a Phreak! And oh, dont ferget Marcus Baugh as part of the mix. We be Smokin on the grid in 2014 and esp 2015.

I need to understand why the fastest guy at the camp is not holding an offer??? Bill, Duane, what is the deal??? Is this like Bell from columbus the 2 star who everyone passed on and we freaking sent to Michigan state!!!!!
if you are not aware Fickell called Dantonio and recommended Bell as someone he might want

i don't get why people are not saying the name quick when talking WR. I am one that's been here reading on these guys and if i was to say which WR I think has OSU as its front runner and who i look to commit is JAMES QUICK. The info people are getting out of the star WR from trinity HS an UofL fans are all implying this one is beginning to separate in the BUCKEYES favor.
look for this class to end up with: QUICK, TIMMONS, GIBSON if we take 3.

Quick and Timmons do not even compete in the same classification. Timmons is in 2A and Quick is in 3A (largest Kentucky track classification). Timmons ran a 10.84 to win the 2A title last season and 11.02 the year before. Quick finished second (10.70) in 3A last track season to a kid named Ronnie Baker (10.65) who is the two time 3A champ. If Timmons ran a 10.6 last track season, my guess is that it was at a hand-timed event. The Kentucky 2A record is 10.61, and Timmons is not the record holder.

Duane does this mean he is a track guy but doesnt have "football moves" I understand you "like them better". I am looking for what specifically they do better on the field... Not trying to be frustrating just looking for insights that come from pros like yall
