I'm just scratching my head about the number of kids that are "committed" yet still talking to other schools. Meyer has picked up a few of these kids, but when it goes the other way then you have a hole in your recruiting class at the last minute. I know it's common now, and it is the fault of both the athletes and the coaches, but it just doesn't seem kosher. Oh well, I guess you're never sure until signing day, and hopefully OSU wins at least as many of these battles as it loses.

I guess it calls for an earlier signing period. But then again, maybe not.
