What about Price for depth at DT? I would think that since Michael Hill had the injury that it would be more likely for Price to provide the depth at DT while Hill works his way back from the wrist injury.

I think Billy Price will play as a true freshman. But I think he'll be more of a three-technique than a one-tech.

Its a given to expect a drop off in production with these guys due to lack of experience, but the talent level is undeniable... with such a cake walk the first few games these guys should be primed by mid season when B1G play starts up. I think they do well and will be one of the best units on the team. Sacks should be off the charts with Spence and Washington, maybe its me but I see those two as an upgrade to what we had last year... Simon was a great DE, not knocking him at all but Washington is an animal, with his size and any added speed he seems comparable to a Clowney type to me.

No mention of Joey Bosa in the article. ???????????? Is that because he won't be here until fall? Would love to see the coaches be able to light a fire under Chris Carter's arse. Without someone with that kind of size to replace Big Hank I feel like we may get pushed around a little by a good offensive line.

Just wonder if Carter's issue is a mental thing, can't understand having that kind of an imposing physical stature and not using it, I mean that's a future NT on Sunday's and not sure why the dude cant get it together. He has to know the kind of money that is on the table!

I honestly am not trying to look to far ahead but its scary how good our defense can be in 2 years. But back to this year, its going to be fun watching these young guys develop.

Dave..One major concern of the DL and Lbers is..How physical will the young Freshman and sophs be in 2013 against older veteran OLs like Wisconsin and where will the leadership come from in 2013 in the front 7.

Yes, story is just about spring ball and the players that will be on campus then. I certainly think Bosa will play a lot as a frosh.

Great write bids, I know this is a spring ball projection however I think bosa and price will see the two deep. Maybe one will redshirt but I do think that they'll be fine. I wonder about hill being strong enough to hold up inside.

He sounds a little touched in his interviews... I mean that he's very weird and strange... But I agree with you he's too big not to be on the field.

Our MLB situation must be the worst in the history of football, I mean seriously. Never have a heard that finding a MLB is more important than finding four new starters on the D-line no matter how gifted the next in line DL guys are. I guess when you move your stud fullback over to defense that says something. Hope someone steps up.

Dave, I agree with you that Tommy Schutt with start over Joel Hale. Joel is solid but I like Schutt's athleticism and motor more. Billy Price and Joey Bosa will play as Freshman. I'm also very excited about Tyquan Lewis. I see him making a valuable contribution this year.
JT Moore is a competitor and I like his motor and toughness. I understand that he's not one of the faster or most athletic guys on the roster. He's a tweener for DE. I'd like to see the coaches try him out at MLB this spring to see what he can do there playing next to Ryan Shazier and Josh Perry. We've got nothing to lose with this experiment. Go Bucks!
