Drake Harris plans to visit Ohio State after the basketball season.

The Buckeyes already have a commitment from one top prospect in Michigan in Damon Webb. But Urban Meyer and Kerry Coombs are far from done in the state up north.

Thanks Bill. We owe the school up north. Considering some of their best players (Howard, Woodson, Grbac) hailed from our state. It's great that we can return the favor, by pulling some of Michigan's talent. Nice to see. Hopefully Webb sticks

Would love to get the top three players out of Michigan this year. My sense is Meyer will have a real shot at Harris and that McDowell is likely to go to ND. Obviously seeing the top three-four Michigan players go to another school would be wonderful.

Only if we are desperate should we take players from Michigan. I was fine with us taking Hankins because we were desperate for beef. I have no desire to watch a Buckeyes team that is filled with players from Michigan.

C'mon...maybe 2 or 3 players per year puts 5-10 on our roster and they will be only the top players in the state. That wouldn't be worth getting into scUM's pants a little bit and wouldn't a little revenge feel sweet when we only take the best of the best. Especially Cass Tech guy's....it sounds good to me.....

As far as going into Michigan and "stealing" players I think it's the skilled players that are more important to get...like Webb and Harris. We can get top OL, DL, LB from anywhere but I think taking skilled players/ game breakers out of Michigan will make it harder for Michigan and MSU to compete against us b/c they have a harder time of bringing in skilled players from outside the Midwest.

Yes over the years they really have beaten us with our own talent Kolasar beat us he had a kick return to the 50 & then caught the 50 yard td all under a minute left in the game .... that one hurt bad! !!! Ricky Powers from Akron Buchctel always played good against OSU.. We all know how Woodson & Howard played against us to solidify the Heismon .. Bo was from Barberton so was Ron Johnson whom went on to the Giants in the early 70s Elvis to Howard was a killer. The guys we do get from up therewe make it count Pepper Johnson was my favorite until Krenzel won the National CHAMPIONSHIP then Big Hank we all loved... So lets see whom we get could be fun....

It is supposed to be us against them but it kind of kills the regional rivalry if most of your players are from outside the state. Watching the local players play is most of the fun for me.

Why do they have to be from Ohio? I would rather have the best players in the country then mediocre players from Ohio.
I don't think we get McDowell or Marshall but Harris has serious interest and Webb will stick. Why haven't we offered Campbell yet?
