Hyde continues to have a big year.

Ohio State dominated on both sides of the ball and moved to 10-0 on the season. What stood out? We examine the good and the (very few things that were) bad in What We Learned.

I learned I am starting to feel more confident with us running right over Meechigan... literally, at first It hought it may take more crazy formations and play calls, but right now I feel like we can line up and punch them right in the mouth, play after play.

One thing too, Wisconsin has ALWAYS struggled defensively with teams that can spread them out with a mobile quarterback, moblile being shifty, TP was not shifty.

I disagree on dedicating a section to Rod Smith's ball security. The fumble was caused by a full sprint helmet to the ball hit, a shot that anyone would fumble on. In fact, it was Dunn whose film will show ball security issues, as he had one run inside the 10 where he fumbled with trivial contact yet immediately fell on it himself, without many noticing.
Rod needs the constant wakeup/reminder, but the fumble was not egregious in any way.
BTW, hope Fragel is OK.
1. Farris, 2. Boren, and 3. Decker all looked good, in that order, IMO.

It wasn't like it was a close game. You could have out anybody in there. I'd it were a road game he prob wouldn't have made the trip.
I hope they at least asked him. He traded a year of playing for a handful of plays.

Excellent stick on the ball from the Illini defender - causing Smiths Fumble.
No excuses for putting ball on ground. Outside of that.....
Smith needs to keep grinding...overall his game has really helped the team this
year in all facets.

I agree this one time. From the endzone shot, Smith saw the contact coming, tucked the ball in tight and ducked his head to protect it. Maybe strength is an issue, but it looked like his technique was OK on this one. The helmet hit right on the ball. I've been critical in the past, but I'll give him a pass on this one.
