" Planted"?..

  • A post a couple of hours suggested that perhaps Waugh was a "plant"; a sting operation of sorts by someone/organization who would benefit by derailing OSU/Meyers train on it's way to glory. My reaction..... talk about paranoia.
Been thinking about it since and, you know what, anything seems possible anymore. Rival schools and or coaches , ESPN/SEC, ?? Sad state of affairs when even this seems plausible.... NOTE I DID NOT SAY PROBABLE !

I find the idea of a man calling attention to the fact that he's a registered sex offender insane. So either the idea of him being planted is batshit insane (likely), or a man was so dedicated to his college football fandom that he was willing to make his life undeniably shitty in order to POSSIBLY cause a recruit or two to de-commit from OSU

  • Never thought of that, but very interesting albiet as you said probably not probable

  • This perv doesn't exactly look like the type of kid these recruits would normally hang out with. Something definitely smells fishy about this whole thing.

It would seem insane... i agree. Of course, provide the vert with the right incentives and whose to say what a pawn in the game he can become.

Beyond this affair, does not seem beyond the realm at all that sorted parties, looking to gain an advantage, could and would set up a sting/entrapment wherein unsuspecting but opportunistic athletes and/or recruits take and illegal bait only to be "exposed" when "sources" turn them into the NCAA, Yahoo, or ESPIN.

In order to believe that this was a "plant", then you would have to believe that Waugh was more than willing to send himself to prison for another school to simply recruit Alex Anzalone. That seems a little far fetched to me.

  • Lex Wexner needs to hire a bigtime private investigator and see if this guy had any huge amounts of money deposited in any accounts...see who this guy was a fan of in the past...This seems like a perfect set up. The guy isn't even from Ohio...I smeel Bulshit...

OSU needs to fight back on this shit right away...tell Gordon Gee and Gene Smith to shut the fuck up and Wexner and boys start digging on this bastard.

  • i was thinking about becoming a mishitgan booster, give out thousands to their 2 star players and then that will really start the toilet flush of a season they will have

How bout the guy got out of jail and had a hard time finding a job. SOmebody came to him and offered him money just to get close to OSU football players in hopes he would bring more VIolations. I mean serious the guy spent all his time on Facebook and twitter, did he have a real job??

  • Think who benefits from this...PSU! Pressure off them, we stop getting their recruits and a kid from PA and an Italian kid who would have gone to PSU if Joe is alive and no controversy.

  • I think his background and motivation needs to be checked out. I don't know what he did, but 'sex offender' in '12 is a lot different than it was 'back in the day'. How long has he been around our recruits? Does seem odd that it's happening now, doesn't it? BTW, I live in central KY and there's quite a bit of 'OSU' this or 'BUCKEYE' that around for everyone to see. GO BUCKS

  • I have seen absolutely normal people go bonkers for a chance to mug for a picture with certain student athletes. It's not unreasonable to think that a person that has contacted 129 athletes, coaches & recruits and is trying to get close, really just has a screw loose. He is a convicted sexual deviant, a stalker & a born again christian according to his mom. We will have to let his punishment come from the state of kentucky & God.
